     Major Hon. Edward Maurice Stonor was born on 2 May 1885.1 He was the son of Francis Robert Stonor, 4th Lord Camoys and Jessica Philippa Carew.2 He married, firstly, Bertha Oliver, daughter of John Oliver, in 1909.1 He and Bertha Oliver were divorced in 1921.1 He married, secondly, Florence Hilda Rothschild, daughter of Thomas William Rothschild, on 1 December 1925.1 He died on 20 June 1931 at age 46.1
     Major Hon. Edward Maurice Stonor gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.1
