Rt. Hon. Sir Adam Courtauld Butler was the son of Richard Austen Butler, Baron Butler of Saffron Walden and Sydney Elizabeth Courtauld.2 He married Felicity Sybil Molesworth-St. Aubyn, daughter of Guy Kemyel Molesworth-St. Aubyn and Catherine Hargreaves, on 21 October 1955.1 He died on 9 January 2008.3
