Sir Norman Dugald Ferrier Campbell of Auchinbreck, 13th Bt. was born on 19 October 1883.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Ralph Campbell of Auchinbreck, 11th Bt. and Sara Robinson.2 He died on 20 January 1968 at age 84, unmarried.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the HQ Staff as OC Signals.1 A sheep farmer and stud breeder.1 He fought in the Second World War in 1940, with the Truro 10th Battalion, Home Guard.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Baronet Campbell, of Auchinbreck [N.S., 1628] on 19 April 1948.1
