     Katharine Ashton was born circa 1860.3 She was the daughter of Thomas Ashton and Elizabeth Gair.1,2 She married Charles Lupton, son of Francis Lupton and Frances Elizabeth Greenhow, in 1888.1 She died on 9 May 1940.3
     From 1888, her married name became Lupton.1

     Margaret Ashton was born on 19 January 1856.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Ashton and Elizabeth Gair.1 She died on 15 October 1937 at age 81.2
     She was the first women candidate for the Manchester City Council.2 She held the office of Councillor of the Manchester City Council in 1908.2

     Donald Campbell gained the rank of Surgeon in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Alexander Campbell was born in 1729.1 He was the son of Patrick Campbell, 3rd of Barcaldine and Lucy Cameron.2 He married Elizabeth Sutherland, daughter of unknown Sutherland of Uppat, in 1770.1 He died in 1822.1
     Alexander Campbell gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Earl of Loudon’s Highlanders.1
