     unknown daughter Hay was the daughter of Thomas Hay, Lord Huntingdon.2 She married William Campbell, son of Archibald Campbell of Succoth and Helen Wallace, in 1770.1 She died in 1775, in childbirth.1
     From 1770, her married name became Campbell.1

     John Campbell was born in 1743.1 He was the son of Archibald Campbell of Succoth and Helen Wallace.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Houston, daughter of James Houston of Jordanhill.1 He married, firstly, Rebecca Douglas, daughter of Robert Douglas, in 1768.1
     John Campbell was Provost of Glasgow in 1788.1 He was Receiver-General of Customs in 1790.1 He was a merchant.1 He was a director of the Bank of Scotland in 1815.1
