     From 12 June 1730, her married name became Hay.

     Alexander Hay was born on 15 April 1731.2 He was the son of Thomas Hay, Lord Huntingdon and Margaret Murray.1 He married, firstly, Jane Douglas Hamilton, daughter of Alexander Hamilton of Ballencrieff and Lady Mary Kerr, on 3 August 1755 at Bathgate, West Lothian, ScotlandG.3,2 He married, secondly, Joanna Pringle, daughter of Alexander Pringle of Whitbank, on 28 March 1773.1,2 He died on 18 March 1788 at age 56.1,2
     He was a practising Advocate.1 He lived at Mordington, Berwickshire, ScotlandG.1

     Sir Thomas Hay of Alderston, 5th Bt. was the son of Alexander Hay and Jane Douglas Hamilton.1 He married Anna Howard, daughter of Sheffield Howard, on 2 January 1793.2 He died in 1832.2
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hay, of Alderston, East Lothian [N.S., 1703] on 13 April 1825.2

     John Hay was born on 24 August 1775.1 He was the son of Alexander Hay and Joanna Pringle.1 He married Christian Ker, daughter of William Ker of Broadmeadows.1 He died on 9 March 1864 at age 88.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Regiment.1 He lived at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1
