     Ian Ridley Campbell-Orde was born on 18 June 1907.1 He is the son of Colin Ridley Campbell-Orde and Winifred Harriet Stewart.2 He married Myrtle Maud Adamson, daughter of Robert van Gruisen Adamson, on 6 November 1939.1
     Ian Ridley Campbell-Orde gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was Advisor and Director of Tactical Development, U.S.Air Force between 1942 and 1943.1 He was decorated with the Air Efficiency Award (A.E.) (and bar).1

     Henry Campbell Campbell-Orde was born on 14 August 1877.1 He was the son of Sir John William Powlett Campbell-Orde, 3rd Bt. and Alice Louisa Monck.2 He married, firstly, Marie Elizabeth Barr, daughter of John S Barr, in 1901.1 He married, secondly, Ruth Thomas, daughter of Robert Thomas, on 14 November 1927.1 He died on 1 November 1954 at age 77.1
