     Beatrice Constance Campbell-Orde was born on 25 February 1903.1 She is the daughter of Henry Campbell Campbell-Orde and Marie Elizabeth Barr.2 She married, firstly, Rodney Whittard Doherty on 13 June 1929.1 She married, secondly, Edward Errol Maitland-Heriot, son of Frederick Maitland-Heriot, in 1956.1
     From 13 June 1929, her married name became Doherty. From 1956, her married name became Maitland-Heriot.
