Reverend Archibald William Douglas

     Reverend Archibald William Douglas was born on 8 June 1870.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Gascoigne Douglas and Anna Maria Harriet Richards.1 He married Ursula Helen Davies, daughter of Captain Robert Watts Davies, on 23 October 1902.1 He died on 23 March 1955 at age 84.1
     He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Chaplain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Rector between 1918 and 1941 at Tankersley, Hoyland Common, Yorkshire, England.1 He held the office of Canon of Sheffield Cathedral between 1931 and 1941.1

     John William Hamilton was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Robert Hamilton of Silvertonhill, 4th Bt. and Mary Williams.2 He married Mary Anne St. George, daughter of Richard St. George.1 He died in 1779.1
     He held the office of Under-Secretary of War [Ireland].1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 54th Regiment.1
