     Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Gascoigne Douglas was born on 5 January 1827.2 He was the son of George Sholto Douglas, 17th Earl of Morton and Frances Theodora Rose.2 He married Anna Maria Harriet Richards, daughter of Richard Richards, on 17 April 1855.2 He died on 19 July 1905 at age 78.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)2 He held the office of Bishop of Abderdeen and Orkney between 1883 and 1905.2

     Ela Douglas was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Gascoigne Douglas and Anna Maria Harriet Richards.2 She married Reverend Charles Rowland Fowke, son of Sir Frederick Thomas Fowke, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Mary Spencer, on 10 February 1892.1 She died on 13 March 1941.1
     From 10 February 1892, her married name became Fowke.

Charles Arthur Freer Fowke1

     Charles Arthur Freer Fowke was born on 9 January 1893.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Rowland Fowke and Ela Douglas.2 He married Violet Lumsden, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Frederick William Lumsden, V.C., on 22 August 1942.1 He died on 16 December 1969 at age 76, without issue.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1947.1

Frederick William Lumsden, V.C.2 She married, firstly, Major Albert Kenlis North, son of North North, before 1942.1 She married, secondly, Charles Arthur Freer Fowke, son of Reverend Charles Rowland Fowke and Ela Douglas, on 22 August 1942.1 She died on 23 December 1948.1
     From before 1942, her married name became North.1 From 22 August 1942, her married name became Fowke.
