     Frederick Carden was born on 26 March 1821.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Robert Carden, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Thompson.² He died in 1844.¹

     Henry Daniel Carden was born on 1 May 1822.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Robert Carden, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Thompson.² He married Catherine Rebecca de Winton, daughter of John Parry de Winton, on 28 April 1847.¹ He died on 4 January 1894 at age 71.¹
     He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Leinster Regiment.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Knightstown, Portarlington, County Laois, Ireland^G.¹

     John Parry de Winton was born on 21 July 1778.² He married Harriet Powys, daughter of Reverend Edward Powys and Mary Hodges.³ He died in 1864.⁴

     Catherine Rebecca de Winton was the daughter of John Parry de Winton.² She married Henry Daniel Carden, son of Sir Henry Robert Carden, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Thompson, on 28 April 1847.¹ She died on 29 August 1914.¹
     From 28 April 1847, her married name became Carden.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Parry Carden was born on 22 February 1854.¹ He was the son of Henry Daniel Carden and Catherine Rebecca de Winton.² He married Araby Burton, daughter of Howard Burton, on 26 August 1897.¹ He died on 19 December 1910 at age 56.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.¹

     Araby Burton was the daughter of Howard Burton.² She married, firstly, Edward Nugent Greer before 1895.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Henry Parry Carden, son of Henry Daniel Carden and Catherine Rebecca de Winton, on 26 August 1897.¹ She died on 7 January 1942.¹
     From before 1895, her married name became Greer.¹ From 26 August 1897, her married name became Carden.

     Catherine Constance Carden was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Parry Carden and Araby Burton.² She died on 7 January 1979, unmarried.¹

     Sybil Parry Carden is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Parry Carden and Araby Burton.² She married Maj.-Gen. Francis David Rome, son of Francis James Rome, on 15 September 1936.¹
     From 15 September 1936, her married name became Rome.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Francis David Rome is the son of Francis James Rome.¹ He married Sybil Parry Carden, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Parry Carden and Araby Burton, on 15 September 1936.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹
