Sir Arthur Carden, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Arthur Carden, 2nd Bt. was born in 1778.1 He was the son of Sir John Craven Carden, 1st Bt. and Mary Pomeroy.2 He married Mary Kenmis, daughter of Thomas Kenmis and Anne White, circa 10 February 1801.1 He died on 4 March 1822, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Dragoon Guards.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1820.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Carden, of Templemore, co. Tipperary [I., 1787] on 21 November 1820.1

     Mary Kenmis was born circa 1783.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Kenmis and Anne White.1,2 She married, firstly, Sir Arthur Carden, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Craven Carden, 1st Bt. and Mary Pomeroy, circa 10 February 1801.1 She married, secondly, Captain Joseph Smith after 1822.1 She died on 20 June 1867 at Mount Butler, County Tipperary, IrelandG.2
     From circa 10 February 1801, her married name became Carden. From after 1822, her married name became Smith.1

     Clemency Ann Hoare was born in 1933.2 She is the daughter of Major Geoffrey Benyon Hoare and Phyllis Mary Jones.2 She married Roger Cunliffe, 3rd Baron Cunliffe, son of Rolf Cunliffe, 2nd Baron Cunliffe and Joan Catherine Lubbock, on 27 April 1957.1
     From 27 April 1957, her married name became Cunliffe.1 After her marriage, Clemency Ann Hoare was styled as Baroness Cunliffe on 24 November 1963.

     Sir Henry Robert Carden, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 February 1789.1 He was the son of Sir John Craven Carden, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Westenra.2 He married Louisa Thompson, daughter of Frederick Thompson and Sarah Smyth, on 10 March 1818.1 He died on 23 March 1847 at age 58.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1807 in the 1st Regiment of Dragoons.3 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 16 June 1815.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Carden, of Templemore, co. Tipperary [I., 1787] on 21 November 1820.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1824.3
