Thomas Fortescue was born on 1 May 1744.1 He was the son of Chichester Fortescue and Hon. Elizabeth Wesley.1 He married, secondly, Mary Nicholson, daughter of Edward Nicholson.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Pakenham, daughter of Thomas Pakenham, 1st Baron Longford and Elizabeth Cuffe, 1st Countess of Longford, in March 1770.1 He died in 1779.1
Thomas Fortescue held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Trim.1 He lived at Dromisken, County Louth, Ireland.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1770.1

Rear-Admiral Sir Chichester Fortescue was born on 7 June 1750.1 He was the son of Chichester Fortescue and Hon. Elizabeth Wesley.1 He married Frances Anna Jones, daughter of David Jones, in 1791.1
