He married Lady Elizabeth Charlotte Louisa Craven, daughter of William Craven, 2nd Earl of Craven and Lady Emily Mary Grimston, on 11 August 1858.2 He died on 18 January 1885 at age 51, without issue.1

Louisa Elizabeth Horsley-Beresford, on 7 August 1862.2 She married, secondly, Henry Amelius Beauclerk Coventry, son of Hon. Henry Amelius Coventry and Caroline Stirling Dundas, on 4 December 1869.2 She and Henry Amelius Beauclerk Coventry were divorced in 1877. She married, thirdly, Captain George William Hutton Riddell on 30 August 1877.2 She died on 7 November 1924.2
