Sir Compton Pocklington Domvile, 1st Bt. married, firstly, Elizabeth Frances Lindsay, daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon. Charles Dalrymple Lindsay and Elizabeth Fudell, on 21 October 1811.2 He married, secondly, Helena Sarah Trench, daughter of Frederick Trench, on 7 December 1815. He died on 23 February 1857.

Lionel Arthur Lindsay was born on 27 March 1861.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Gore Lindsay and Hon. Ellen Sarah Morgan.1 He died on 15 April 1945 at age 84, unmarried.1
Lionel Arthur Lindsay was an Adjutant, Major and Inspector of the Egyptian Police.1 He held the office of Chief Constable of Glamorgan between 1891 and 1937.1 He was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1912.1 He was invested as a Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.).1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.1
