     Edith Elizabeth Potter was born in 1864 at Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Walter Potter and Elizabeth Leech.1 She married William Henry A. Gaddum, son of George Henry Gaddum and Sophia Susannah Gaddum.1 She died in 1937.1
     Her married name became Gaddum.1

     William Henry A. Gaddum was baptised on 5 November 1856 at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of George Henry Gaddum and Sophia Susannah Gaddum.2 He married Edith Elizabeth Potter, daughter of Walter Potter and Elizabeth Leech.1
     He was a cotton merchant.1

     Sir Alan Cathcart, 1st Lord Cathcart married Janet Maxwell.1 He died before 3 October 1497.1 He was buried at Blackfriars Churchyard, Ayr, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.2
     He was created 1st Lord Cathcart [Scotland] circa 1452.1 On 31 July 1452 he was granted lands and territorial Barony of Cathcart by charter.1 He held the office of Master of Artillery in 1484.1 He held the office of Warden of the West Marches in 1484.1

     John Cathcart, 2nd Lord Cathcart was born in 1458.2 He was the son of Alan Cathcart, Master of Cathcart.3 He married, firstly, Margaret Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy of Blairquhan.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Douglas, daughter of William Douglas, 3rd of Drumlanrig and Margaret Carlyle, before August 1499.1 He died in December 1535.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Cathcart [S., c. 1452] before 3 October 1497.1
