Edith Harriet Symonds was the daughter of John Addington Symonds.2 She married Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt., son of Daniel Cave and Frances Locock, on 1 September 1859.1 She died on 5 August 1912.1

Sir Charles Henry Cave, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 March 1861.1 He is the son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds.2 He married Beatrice Julia Williams, daughter of Sir Frederick Martin Williams, 2nd Bt., on 12 January 1892.1 He died on 26 July 1932 at age 71.1
