     Very Rev. Henry Law was born on 28 September 1797 at Kelshall Rectory, Kelshall, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. George Henry Law and Jane Adeane.1 He died on 25 November 1884 at age 87, unmarried.1
     Very Rev. Henry Law was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1820 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1823 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Dean of Gloucester between 1862 and 1884.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.1
