     William Fitzwilliam Burton was born on 14 May 1826.2 He was the son of William Fitzwilliam Burton and Mary Power.2,3 He married, firstly, Coralie Augusta Frederica Lloyd, daughter of Henry Lloyd, on 18 June 1848.2 He married, secondly, Clara Louisa Cayley, daughter of John Cayley and Clara Louisa Boulton, on 6 January 1894.1 He died on 29 April 1909 at age 82.2
     William Fitzwilliam Burton was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1849.2 He gained the rank of in the service of the 4th Light Dragoons.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.1 He lived at Burton Hall, County Carlow, Ireland.1 He lived at Goltho Hall, Wragby, Lincolnshire, England.2
