     Patrick Lindsay, 3rd of Wormiston was the son of John Lindsay and Elspeth Lentrum. He married Catherine Bethune, daughter of Robert Bethune, 1st of Bandon and Marion Inglis, on 18 June 1657.1

     Catherine Bethune was born circa 1640.1 She was the daughter of Robert Bethune, 1st of Bandon and Marion Inglis.1 She married Patrick Lindsay, 3rd of Wormiston, son of John Lindsay and Elspeth Lentrum, on 18 June 1657.1 She died on 6 March 1730.1
     Catherine Bethune lived at Bandon, Fife, Scotland. From 18 June 1657, her married name became Lindsay.1
