     Colonel John Clervaux Chaytor was born on 3 February 1896.1 He was the son of John Clervaux Chaytor and Emma Fearon.2 He married Olive Mary Brittan, daughter of Colonel Reginald Brittan, on 7 August 1930.1 He died on 8 November 1957 at age 61.1
     First World War.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
