     Sir Arthur O'Neil was born before 1570.1 He was the son of Sir Turlough Lynach O'Neil and unknown wife (?).1 He died after 20 October 1597.1
     In 1589 he was disavowed by his father.1

     Terence O'Dempsey, 1st Viscount Clanmalier was the son of Dermot O'Dempsey.1 He married, firstly, Mary FitzGerald, daughter of Sir Maurice FitzGerald and Margaret Butler.1 He married, secondly, Genet Finglass, daughter of Patrick Finglass.1 He married, thirdly, Margaret Whitly, daughter of unknown Whitly.1 He died after February 1637.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 6 November 1658.1
     Terence O'Dempsey, 1st Viscount Clanmalier held the office of Sheriff of Queen's County in 1593.1 He was invested as a Knight on 22 May 1599 at Kiltenan, Ireland.1 He was created 1st Baron of Phillipstown, King's County [Ireland] on 22 December 1631.1 He was created 1st Viscount Clanmalier, King's and Queen's County [Ireland] on 22 December 1631.1 He lived at Clanmalier, County Laois, Ireland.1
