     Angus Valdimar Hambro was born on 8 July 1883.2 He was the son of Sir Everard Alexander Hambro and Gertrude Mary Stuart.2,3 He married, firstly, Rosamund Maud Kearsley, daughter of Major Robert Wilson Kearsley, on 1 July 1907.2 He married, secondly, Vanda Dorothy Julia Charlton, daughter of St. John Charlton, on 2 March 1916.2 He died on 19 November 1957 at age 74.2
     Angus Valdimar Hambro was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Dorset between 1910 and 1922.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1917 in the service of the Dorset Yeomanry.2 He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1921.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Private Secretary in 1918, to the Secretary of State, Air.2 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset.2 County Alderman of Dorset.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Dorset in 1934.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Dorset between 1937 and 1945.4 He was a director of Hambros Bank between 1945 and 1954.2 He lived at Merly House, Dorset, England.2
