Captain Angus Valdemar Hambro was born on 8 July 1883.2 He was the son of Sir Everard Alexander Hambro and Gertrude Mary Stuart.2,3 He married, firstly, Rosamund Maud Kearsley, daughter of Major Robert Wilson Kearsley, on 1 July 1907.2 He married, secondly, Vanda Dorothy Julia Charlton, daughter of St. John Charlton, on 2 March 1916.2 He died on 19 November 1957 at age 74.2
