     Robert de Culwen was born at Drigg, Cumberland, England.1 He was the son of Sir Patric de Culwen and Alina Twynam.1 He married Joan (?) before 1330.1 He died before 1348.1

     Christopher John Jellicoe Balfour was born on 7 February 1934.1 He is the son of Lionel Maxwell Joachim Balfour and Lady Myrtle Grace Brocas Jellicoe.1 He married Ann Shuyler Butlin, daughter of Captain Claude Martin Butlin, on 9 July 1960.1
     Christopher John Jellicoe Balfour was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was with the Forest of Dean District Council between 1979 and 1987.1 He wrote the book Roads to Oblivion, published 1996.1 He lived in 2003 at 25 Clausentum Road, St. Cross, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1
