     Admiral John Leigh Douglas was born in 1741.1 He was the son of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston.2 He married Charlotte Douglas, daughter of John Douglas.1 He died in November 1810, without issue.1
     Admiral John Leigh Douglas gained the rank of Admiral of the White.1

     Reverend Alexander Douglas is the son of William Douglas of Baads and Joan of Park.2 He married Isabel Houston, daughter of Andrew Houston, on 22 April 1726.1
     Reverend Alexander Douglas was the Minister in 1718 at Skirling, Scotland.1 He was the Minister in 1725 at East Calder, Midlothian, Scotland.1
