     Alexander Douglas of Baads was born in 1731.1 He was the son of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston.2 He married Elizabeth Taylor on 26 September 1765.1 He died in 1787.1
     In 1787 he bought the estate of Baads.1

     Elizabeth Taylor married Alexander Douglas of Baads, son of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston, on 26 September 1765.1
     From 26 September 1765, her married name became Douglas.1

Elizabeth Douglas1

     Elizabeth Douglas was the daughter of Isobel Douglas.2 She died in 1873, unmarried.1
     In 1852 she succeeded to Baads on the death of her brother.1

Sir John Fenn1

     Sir John Fenn was born in 1739.2 He married Ellenor Frere, daughter of Sheppard Frere and Susanna Hatley, on 1 January 1766.1 He died in 1794.1
     He was editor of the Paston Letters.2

     Edward Frere was born on 16 September 1770.3 He was the son of John Frere and Jane Hookham.1 He married Frances Mary Anne Greene on 28 July 1800.3 He died on 5 March 1844 at age 73.3

     Sir Henry Bartle Frere, 1st Bt. was born on 29 March 1815.1 He was the son of Edward Frere and Frances Mary Anne Greene.2,1 He married Catherine Arthur, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Rt. Hon. Sir George Arthur, 1st Bt. and Eliza Ord Ussher Smith, on 10 October 1844.1 He died on 29 May 1884 at age 69.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Frere [U.K.] on 24 May 1876.

     Jean Douglas was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston.2 She married Aretas Akers, son of Edmund Akers and Sarah Seton, on 4 December 1752.1 She died on 11 January 1769.1
     She was the Minister at East Calder, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 From 4 December 1752, her married name became Akers.
