     Edmund Akers was born on 15 January 1757.1 He was the son of Aretas Akers and Jean Douglas.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Deerhurst.1 He married, firstly, Frances Rawlings, daughter of Joseph Rawlings, on 9 September 1784.1 He died in 1821.1
     Edmund Akers lived at Berrymead Priory, Acton, Middlesex, England.1

     Aretas Akers was born in 1759.1 He was the son of Aretas Akers and Jean Douglas.2 He married Jean Ramsay, daughter of Reverend James Ramsay and Rebecca Akers, on 19 March 1795.1 He died on 15 December 1816.1
