     Kenneth Mackenzie of Kintail was the son of John Mackenzie of Kintail and Elizabeth Grant.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 2nd Earl of Atholl and Lady Janet Campbell.2 He died on 6 June 1561.2
     Kenneth Mackenzie of Kintail also went by the nick-name of 'na Cuirc' (or in English, 'of the whittle').2 He had five other daughters.2
