     John Patrick Charles Hudson was born on 11 April 1922.1,2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Edward Hudson, V.C. and Gladys Lee.1 He died on 24 April 1943 at age 21, killed in action.1 He was buried at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Medjez-el-Bab, Tunisia.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Sherwood Foresters.1
