     Jermyma Scott is the daughter of Robert Scott.¹ She married Samuel Sainthill, son of Peter Sainthill and Frances Palmer, on 22 March 1759 at St. Marys, Leyton, Essex, England.¹

     Frances Sainthill was born in 1759 at Osmaston, Derbyshire, England.² She was the daughter of Samuel Sainthill and Jermyma Scott.^2,3 She married John Eardley-Wilmot, son of Sir John Eardley Wilmot and Sarah Rivett, in 1776.¹
      From 1776, her married name became Wilmot.

     John Eardley-Wilmot was born in 1750.¹ He was the son of Sir John Eardley Wilmot and Sarah Rivett.² He married, secondly, Sarah Haslam, daughter of Colonel unknown Haslam.³ He married, firstly, Frances Sainthill, daughter of Samuel Sainthill and Jermyma Scott, in 1776.¹ He died in June 1815.⁴
     He was given the name of John Wilmot at birth.¹ He held the office of Master of Chancery.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton between 1776 and 1784.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ In 1812 his name was legally changed to John Eardley-Wilmot by Royal Licence.¹ He lived at Berkswell Hall, Berkswell, Warwickshire, England.¹

     Sir John Eardley Eardley-Wilmot, 1st Bt. was born on 21 February 1783.¹ He was the son of John Eardley-Wilmot and Frances Sainthill.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Emma Parry, daughter of Caleb Hillier Parry, on 21 May 1808.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Chester, daughter of Sir Robert Chester and Elizabeth Ford, on 30 August 1819 at Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.² He died on 3 February 1847 at age 63.³
     He was created 1st Baronet Eardley-Wilmot, of Berkswell Hall, co. Warwick [U.K.] on 23 August 1821.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Warwickshire between 1832 and 1843.¹ He held the office of Governor of Van Diemen's Land.¹ He also had one other daughter by his second wife.³

     Selina Elizabeth Eardley-Wilmot was the daughter of John Eardley-Wilmot and Frances Sainthill.² She married Reverend Guy Bryan on 5 March 1811 at Tottenham, London, England.¹ She died on 8 October 1868.¹
      From 5 March 1811, her married name became Bryan.¹
