Sir William Assheton Eardley-Wilmot, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 May 1841 at London, England.3 He was the son of Sir John Eardley Eardley-Wilmot, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Martha Williams.2 He married Mary Russell, daughter of David Watts Russell, on 12 December 1876.1 He died on 12 April 1896 at age 54.1

Sampson Eardley, 1st and last Baron Eardley of Spalding was the son of Sampson Gideon.2 He married Maria Marowe Wilmot, daughter of Sir John Eardley Wilmot and Sarah Rivett, on 6 December 1766.1 He died on 25 December 1824.1
Sampson Eardley, 1st and last Baron Eardley of Spalding lived Stepney.1 A stockbroker of Portuguese Sephardic extraction.1 He was baptised with the name of Sampson Gideon.1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Eardley.1 He gained the title of 1st Baron Eardley of Spalding.1 On 17 July 1789 his name was legally changed to Sampson Eardley by Royal Licence.1
