     Anna von Mecklenburg-Schwerin was born on 6 October 1533.1 She was the daughter of Albrecht VI Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Anne von Hohenzollern.1 She married Gotthard Herzog von Kurland on 24 February 1566.1 She died on 4 July 1602 at age 68.1
     From 24 February 1566, her married name became von Kurland.1
