She died on 3 May 1547 at age 59 at Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She was also reported to have died on 3 May 1514.

     Albrecht VI Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin was born on 28 July 1488. He was the son of Magnus II Herzog von Mecklenburg and Sophie von Pommern-Wolgast. He married Anne von Hohenzollern, daughter of Joachim I Nestor Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Elizabeth Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 17 January 1524. He died on 5 January 1547 at age 58.
     Albrecht VI Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin gained the title of Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.1

He married, secondly, Elisabeth von Hohenzollern, daughter of Joachim I Nestor Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Elizabeth Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 12 March 1525. He died on 30 July 1540.
