     From 22 October 1609, her married name became von Kurland.1

     Wilhelm Herzog von Kurland was born on 20 July 1574.1 He was the son of Gotthard Herzog von Kurland and Anna von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.1 He married Sofie von Hohenzollern, daughter of Albrecht Friedrich Herzog in Preußen and Marie Eleonore von Kleve, on 22 October 1609.1 He died on 17 April 1640 at age 65.1
