     Lt.-Col. Robert King-Clark was born on 27 November 1913.1 He is the son of Alexander King Clark and Katherine Margaret Elizabeth Mainwaring Knocker.2 He married Jean May Evelyn Campbell, daughter of Roland Campbell, on 16 January 1950.1
     Lt.-Col. Robert King-Clark gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Manchester Regiment and The Glider Pilot Regiment.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 13 June 1967.1
