     Augustus Henry Clayton East was born in 1824.1 He was the son of Sir East George Clayton East, 1st Bt. and Marianne Frances Bishop.2 He died on 23 August 1845, off the coast of Borneo.1

     Charles William Clayton East was born in 1826.1 He was the son of Sir East George Clayton East, 1st Bt. and Marianne Frances Bishop.2 He married, firstly, Lillie Campbell MacLachlan, daughter of Campbell MacLachlan, on 15 May 1847.1 He married, secondly, Eliza Spooner Palmer, daughter of Thomas Spooner Palmer, on 14 September 1854.1 He died on 21 August 1866, without issue.1
     Charles William Clayton East gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 15th Regiment.1
