She held the office of Councillor for Chelsea Borough between 1945 and 1956.1 She held the office of Councillor for the London City Council between 1946 and 1958.1 She graduated from St. Hugh's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 She held the office of Deputy-Chairman of the London City Council between 1957 and 1958.1 She was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1959.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1966.1
