     Hon. Bridget Assheton was born on 20 August 1926.1 She was the daughter of Sir Ralph Assheton, 1st Baron Clitheroe and Hon. Sylvia Benita Frances Hotham.3 She married Sir William Marcus John Worsley, 5th Bt., son of Colonel Sir William Arthington Worsley, 4th Bt. and Joyce Morgan Brunner, on 10 December 1955.1 She died on 22 May 2004 at age 77 at Hovingham, Yorkshire, North Riding, England.4
     From 10 December 1955, her married name became Worsley. She was in the Women's Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.1 She lived in 2003 at Hovingham Hall, York, Yorkshire, England.1
