Sylvia Benita Frances Hotham was the daughter of Frederick William Hotham, 6th Baron Hotham of South Dalton and Eliza Benita Sanders.3,4 She married Sir Ralph Assheton, 1st Baron Clitheroe, son of Sir Ralph Cockayne Assheton, 1st Bt. and Mildred Estelle Sybella Master, on 24 January 1924.1 She died in 1991.1
