     Edith Caroline Crossley was the daughter of William Crossley.1 She married, firstly, W. S. Mercer before 1890.1 She married, secondly, Algernon Edward Richard Boyle, son of Reverend Hon. Richard Cavendish Boyle and Eleanor Vere Gordon, on 28 May 1890.1 She died on 20 January 1926.1
     From before 1890, her married name became Mercer.1 From 28 May 1890, her married name became Boyle.1
