Ada Coote was born in 1846.3 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles James Coote and Anne Stewart.2 She married Hon. Henry Leslie Pepys, son of Charles Christopher Pepys, 1st Earl of Cottenham and Caroline Elizabeth Wingfield-Baker, on 17 November 1868.1 She died on 21 April 1936.1
