     Hon. Henry Leslie Pepys was born on 28 November 1830.1 He was the son of Charles Christopher Pepys, 1st Earl of Cottenham and Caroline Elizabeth Wingfield-Baker.2 He married Ada Coote, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles James Coote and Anne Stewart, on 17 November 1868.1 He died on 18 March 1891 at age 60.1
