     Lt.-Col. Sir Henry William Des Voeux, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 December 1806.1 He is the son of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird.1 He married Lady Sophia Catherine Coventry, daughter of George William Coventry, 7th Earl of Coventry and Peggy Pitches, on 16 July 1839.2 He died on 4 January 1868 at age 61.1
     Lt.-Col. Sir Henry William Des Voeux, 3rd Bt. gained the title of 3rd Baronet Des Voeux. He gained the rank of High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1864.1
