     Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. was born after 1656.1 He was the son of George Mackenzie of Tarbat, 1st Earl of Cromarty and Anne Sinclair.1 He married, firstly, Mary Kinnear, daughter of unknown Kinnear.1 He married, secondly, Anne Campbell in 1701.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Edwards circa 14 January 1726.1 He died on 13 September 1728.1
     Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Mackenzie, of Cromarty and Grandvale [Nova Scotia] on 29 April 1704, a regrant of the 1628 creation, with a special remainder of his heirs male whatsoever.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cromarty between 1710 and 1713.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cromarty in 1727.1
