     Jacqueline Cross was the daughter of Robert Singlehurst Cross.1 She married Charles William Noel Miles, son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles William Miles, 5th Bt. and Favell Mary Hill, on 16 March 1940.1 She died in 1998.1
     Jacqueline Cross also went by the nick-name of Dickie.1 From 16 March 1940, her married name became Miles.1
