     Oswald Partington, 2nd Baron Doverdale was born on 4 May 1872.1 He was the son of Edward Partington, 1st Baron Doverdale and Sarah Haworth.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Clara Isabel Murray, daughter of Montolieu Fox Oliphant Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank and Blanche Alice Scott, on 6 August 1902.1 He and Hon. Clara Isabel Murray were divorced in 1934.1 He married, secondly, Leslie Cornell, daughter of George B. Cornell, on 26 July 1934.1 He died on 23 May 1935 at age 63.1
     He was a director of Kellner-Partington Pulp Company.1 He was chairman of Barrow Paper Mills Ltd.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire, High Peak Division between 1900 and 1910.1 He held the office of Junior Lord of the Treasury between 1909 and 1910.1 He held the office of Liberal Whip between 1909 and 1910.1 He held the office of Alderman of London between 1913 and 1920.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yorkshire, Shipley Division between 1915 and 1918.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Doverdale, of Westwood Park, co. Worcester [U.K., 1917] on 5 January 1925.1

     Alice Ann Partington was born in 1862 at Bary, Lancashire, England.2 She was the daughter of Edward Partington, 1st Baron Doverdale and Sarah Haworth.1 She married Major Ralph Bennett Sidebottom on 3 September 1890 at St. James' Church, Whitfield, Derbyshire, England.1,2 She died in 1933.2
     From 3 September 1890, her married name became Sidebottom.1

     Major Ralph Bennett Sidebottom was born in 1859 at Cheshire, England.2 He married Alice Ann Partington, daughter of Edward Partington, 1st Baron Doverdale and Sarah Haworth, on 3 September 1890 at St. James' Church, Whitfield, Derbyshire, England.1,2 He died in 1944.2
     He gained the rank of Surgeon-Lieutenant on 3 February 1897 in the Royal Navy.2

Clara Isabel Murray was born on 24 October 1880.2 She was the daughter of Montolieu Fox Oliphant Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank and Blanche Alice Scott.1 She married Oswald Partington, 2nd Baron Doverdale, son of Edward Partington, 1st Baron Doverdale and Sarah Haworth, on 6 August 1902.1 She and Oswald Partington, 2nd Baron Doverdale were divorced in 1934.1 She died on 22 December 1945 at age 65.2

     Edward Alexander Partington, 3rd Baron Doverdale was born on 25 February 1904.1 He was the son of Oswald Partington, 2nd Baron Doverdale and Hon. Clara Isabel Murray.1 He married Audrey Ailsa Pointing, daughter of Arthur Pointing, on 18 May 1933.1 He died on 18 January 1949 at age 44.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Doverdale, of Westwood Park, co. Worcester [U.K., 1917] on 23 May 1935.1
     On his death, his barony became extinct.1
