     Mary Clara Montolieu was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Lewis Charles Montolieu, Baron de St. Hypolite. She married Alexander Murray, 7th Baron Elibank, son of Reverend Gideon Murray and Elizabeth Montolieu, on 20 May 1776. She died on 19 January 1802. She died on 19 January 1802.1
     Her married name became Murray.

     Alexander Murray, 8th Baron Elibank was born on 26 February 1780.2 He was the son of Alexander Murray, 7th Baron Elibank and Mary Clara Montolieu.1 He married Janet Oliphant, daughter of John Oliphant, on 8 March 1803. He died on 9 April 1830 at age 50.2
     Alexander Murray, 8th Baron Elibank was Officer Coldstream Guards.2 He gained the title of 8th Baron Elibank.

     Perthshire.1 Self-styled Lord Oliphant.1 She lived Bachilton.1 Her married name became Murray.

     Montolieu Fox Oliphant Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank was born on 27 April 1840.1 He was the son of Alexander Oliphant Murray, 9th Baron Elibank and Emily Maria Montgomery.2 He married Blanche Alice Scott, daughter of Edward John Scott, on 2 May 1868.1 He died on 20 February 1927 at age 86.1
     Montolieu Fox Oliphant Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank fought in the China Expedition in 1860.1 He was commander of the a naval detachment for the suppression of a negro rising Morant Bay, Jamaica in 1865.3 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baron Elibank in 1871. He was Lord Lieutenant Peeblesshire in 1896.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Peeblesshire.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Selkirkshire.3 He was created 1st Viscount Elibank, of Elibank, co. Selkirk [U.K.] on 3 July 1911.1
     He had three other daughters.1

     Blanche Alice Scott was the daughter of Edward John Scott.1 She married Montolieu Fox Oliphant Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank, son of Alexander Oliphant Murray, 9th Baron Elibank and Emily Maria Montgomery, on 2 May 1868.2 She died on 22 October 1936.
     Her married name became Murray. As a result of her marriage, Blanche Alice Scott was styled as Viscountess Elibank on 3 July 1911.
