     Monica Stepylton was the daughter of Reverend Martin Stepylton.1 She married George Thomas Sotheron-Estcourt, 1st and last Baron Estcourt, son of Reverend Edmund Hilary Bucknall-Estcourt and Anne Elizabeth Johnstone, on 14 April 1863.1 She died on 31 March 1922.1
     From 14 April 1863, her married name became Sotheron-Estcourt.1 After her marriage, Monica Stepylton was styled as Baroness Estcourt on 3 August 1903.

     Horace Evans, 1st and last Baron Evans was born on 1 January 1903.1 He was the son of Harry Evans and Edith Gwendoline Rees.1 He married Helen Aldwyth Davies, daughter of T. J. Davies, on 15 June 1920.1 He died on 26 October 1963 at age 60.1
