Lucy Sarah Sotheron was the daughter of Admiral Frank Sotheron.1 She married Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Sutton Sotheron-Estcourt, son of Thomas Grimston Bucknall Bucknall-Estcourt and Eleanor Sutton, on 21 August 1830.1 She died on 1 July 1870.1

Sir John Lowther Johnstone of Westerhall, 6th Bt. was born in 1783.2 He is the son of Commander George Johnstone and Deborah Charlotte Dee.3 He married Charlotte Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon of Cluny, on 14 January 1804.2 He died on 24 December 1811.2
He unsuccessfully claimed the Marquessate of Annandale.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Johnstone, of Westerhall [N.S., 1700] on 30 May 1805.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Weymouth in 1810.2

George Thomas Sotheron-Estcourt, 1st and last Baron Estcourt was born on 21 January 1839.1 He was the son of Reverend Edmund Hilary Bucknall-Estcourt and Anne Elizabeth Johnstone.1 He married Monica Stepylton, daughter of Reverend Martin Stepylton, on 14 April 1863.1 He died on 12 January 1915 at age 75, without issue.1
