     William Henry Ferdinand Godard Bentinck was born on 20 December 1900. He was the son of Godard John George Charles Bentinck and Countess Augustine Wilhelmine Louise Adrienne de Bylandt. He married Mathilde Mary Elisabeth Caroline Stutzer on 27 February 1941. He died on 10 July 1956 at age 55.

     Captain Sigurd von Ilsemann gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Prussian Army.
